Foundational Research: Evexia
My team designed and executed a foundational research project to better understand what users are looking for in mood tracking and wellness apps. Specifically, we aimed to learn about the unique challenges faced by users who are currently experiencing mood disorder symptoms.

This research was done on behalf of Evexia, a mood tracking app designed to assist users in tracking their mental health habits while concurrently collecting valuable research data that can be used to improve the scientific literature regarding mood tracking.
Find out more about Evexia here, and if you're interested in learning about the findings from our research, please check them out below!

Social Media Campaign:
TRAD Takeover
As part of my social media internship at UTSW, I worked with scientists via interviews and focus groups in order to design campaigns that highlighted the research being done for the Texas Resilience Against Depression (TRAD) program. This campaign drove significantly more traffic and engagement to our Instagram and Facebook page.
Check out an example Instagram post from the TRAD takeover campaign below, or if you'd like to peruse the whole campaign, feel free to check out our Instagram page here!

Poster Presentation: Total Sleep Time as Moderator for Serum Glucose Levels
"Students, Scott says, 'need to consider sleep as a medical issue. Getting good sleep is important. All-nighters aren't worth it. Establish good sleep behaviors, including no laptops in bed,' she says. 'Insomnia is often not seen as a concern for college students because sleeping is an undervalued part of daily life to them. But lack of sleep causes problems in the long run.'"

To learn more about this study, please check out the poster I presented at the Annual 2016 SLEEP Conference in Denver, Colorado.
